Our aim at Tatachilla is for all students to have the opportunity to reach their full potential and be successful learners. We understand that students may experience difficulties in a range of areas, including literacy, numeracy, concentration, behavior, memory and language, as well as facing social and emotional challenges. Therefore, supporting students with their learning is a partnership between staff, parents, students and relevant supporting inter-agencies.
All students are catered for within the classroom learning environments by accessing a differentiated curriculum and further support as necessary. For some students, an Individual Education Plan is developed, identifying specific learning goals for those students who need something ‘additional to and different from’ the differentiated classroom curriculum.
Tatachilla has three sub-schools which work together to enable a smooth, seamless transition for students as they move through the College.
