Registration for the 2020 bus services is now available by downloading the Bus Travel Application Form. NB. returning/existing students already using the bus service are asked to send an email confirming their usage in 2020 and do not need to complete a new application.
Further information will be forwarded to all families in January prior to the start of school.
The BusMinder system is a GPS-based system that will allow parents to track, on their smartphone, the bus their child is on and the real-time location of that bus. In this system, each student swipes a personal electronic card/fob as they get on and off the bus. The student’s card/fob is linked to the unique, password protected, BusMinder Parent account.
The BusMinder Parent App can be downloaded from the Apple App Store (for Apple devices) or Google Play (for Android devices).
After downloading the ‘BusMinder Parent’ app and signing in, parents can pre-load the students bus account, choose to receive notifications as the student boards and leaves the bus, as well as seeing, on a Google map, the location of the bus.
Students who travel on a Tatachilla bus service must use their Student ID Card (Yrs 7-12) or an electronic Keyfob (Yrs R-6) to tap on and off the bus which logs their attendance on the appropriate bus and deducts the bus fare from their linked account.
Bus Keyfobs are available for purchase from the College Office at a cost of $5.00
