The Performing Arts Academy supports future changemakers in dance and drama.

The academy is a unique co-curricular program for students in Years 10-11 who have demonstrable talent in the performing arts and who aspire to work in artistic fields beyond school.

It is a distinctive aspect of Tatachilla’s Arts programs and an enviable platform for the college’s future artists to share their talent and creative vision with the world.

As part of the Performing Arts Academy, students attend their timetabled lessons for Dance and/or Drama and complement this with a range of exciting co-curricular experiences in industry settings.

The Performing Arts Academy gives students who are studying Dance and/or Drama the opportunity to attend intensive workshops, backstage theatre tours and previews of major plays, musicals, festivals and operatic performances.
