All laptops will be insured through the school for warranty and replacement purposes.
Please note: There may be an excess for participants in some situations.
Lost and Found Policy
Should a student lose or have their laptop stolen, there are a prescribed set of forms to be lodged with the college. A maximum of two total losses (that is replacement laptops) is possible under the insurance policy. There will be an excess of approximately $250 payable by families to replace lost, damaged or stolen devices.
Alterations to the Appearance of the Device
As the laptop will be ‘owned’ by the school until the student exits the College at Year 12, no personalization of the external appearance is allowed. Students will be responsible for any necessary cleaning / maintenance required to remove such material.
Claim / Repair Form
Students are required to submit an insurance form when damage occurs to their laptops such as broken screen, water damage, cracked case/trackpad.
Please ensure this form is filled in and signed prior to your child submitting their laptop for repairs with the IT Help-desk.
